a reminder Media Artist Janine Randerson is the 2013 Touring Artist for the Mesh Cities Project
Janine has run two workshops so far (in Christchurch and in Dunedin as part of the Space:Network:Memory Symposium)
In the Te Ika a Maui (North Island) iteration Janine will be at Massey University, Wellington campus - Friday November 22nd 3pm

'Ecologies of Practice' workshop
Media artist Janine Randerson will facilitate a discussion based on her experience of collaborating with environmental scientists, instrument technicians and invested social groups on recent projects. The title refers to philosopher of science Isabelle Stenger's exploration of the challenges and benefits of building 'ecologies of practice', or relations between disciplines. Janine will also discuss processes of generating data through sensors and demonstrate the SM50 air quality monitor to workshop ideas for a new work.
