The World Summit Award (WSA) is a global activity to select and promote the world's best e-Content and most innovative ICT applications. It offers a worldwide platform for all who value the creative use of ICT.

If you have a project that you would like considered for the World Summit Award, please submit the following:
• A paragraph or background information on the project
• A website reference, if valid
• The category of the submission
About the World Summit Award: The World Summit Awards honours excellence in e-content/applications. Forty winners (5 in each category) are selected globally A special emphasis is placed on those projects which show the benefits of information and communication technology for the development of society at large. Over and above the judging criteria the judges look for the 'value add' to NZ - what are the products & services that can we put on the global stage to increase both NZ visibility & create international sales. This is a great showcase for the innovative & clever thinking that is going on in NZ. The World Summit Award (WSA) has been a resounding success for New Zealand since 2003. Timetable: Call for submissions: 2 April – 15 May 2013
Judging will take place in late May, judges to be confirmed and everyone will be notified of final decisions
August 1st Jury Round conducted as online Jury
August 29-31 Grand Jury meeting and decision on the 40 WSA Winners 2013 in Tallinn, Estonia
October 24-26 WSA Gala events, Conference and exhibition in Colombo, Sri Lanka, hosted by ICTA
