I will be in Sydney from the 27th of May for a few events at VIVID and staying on for ISEA. Looking forward to seeing some of you over there.
Also Raewyn Turner is installing a work for the ISEA exhibition.
Cheers
Naomi

Hi ADA
This might be of interest to someone, although I have no idea of their openness to ADA style art:

Hi Su and the ADA list,
I will be coming to ISEA as a Theme Moderator for the Leonardo Education and Arts Forum on the 14th of June at Creative Studios, the NCCL (National Centre for Creative Learning), Level 3 Museum of Contemporary Art, 140 George St Sydney, NSW
from 2-5pm. The other theme moderators are Jane Prophet, Mike Philips, Andrea Polli, Nigel Helyer and Joanna Hoffmann. Nina Czegledy is convener. This is an educators forum and worthwhile for the sharing of experiences.
Also, I would recommend that people attend the ISEA General Meeting on Wednesday June 12th 11.30 till 1.30 New Law Auditorium 101 at The University of Sydney, Eastern Avenue, Camperdown, Sydney. Often people are aware of the organisation for each ISEA, but not the Board behind ISEA.
Usually, cities that want to host future ISEA events will present at the General Meetings. Although I'm not certain of this, it is likely that the next ISEA venue (Dubai 2014) will present on progress. It is possible that the 2015 venue team - Vancouver - might be there, along with people wanting to host 2016.
It helps quite a bit to know what is coming up and get a feel for how organisers are seeing their event. The presentations are never to the level of specific call, but the general area of what they want to do is covered. Sometimes there can be organisational detail such as project partners. It becomes possible to see 'behind the web page' of future ISEA hosts, as it were.
